We would like to apply for grants and we need to come up with a budget to support the grant. We are entirely volunteer, so this is new to us. The person who can help us has accounting and finance experience with nonprofits and grant requests. This person would know what kind of budget makes sense addressing appropriate inclusion and exclusion.We want to reach out to. the especially challenged unemployed and underemployed. If we can get just 10% to work, we can change lives, communities, and economies. We have a comprehensive plan featuring barrier identification/mitigation, teaming, basic learning, paid practice in a field, and extended community support. The system will scale up starting with systems supporting one team and replicate for hundreds. The entire system will replicate in various languages so we can serve the widest need. We have made significant progress building systems entirely with volunteers. We will make more progress if we have a cadre of paid staff. This budget is essential to grant acquisition. We know what the grant will accomplish, if we get it. We know what we need to fulfill the grant mission. We just need to understand what should go in a budget. Having long been a volunteer-run organization, we know that we need a cadre of fixed staff to sustain and accellorate progress.
