Project Overview

We are looking for a volunteer to create a standardized communications checklist that guides us through the essentials: who, what, when, and how of sharing important updates, whether they involve program milestones, internal changes, or responses to major events.

This volunteer will:
-Ensure the checklist covers all communication channels we should use—ranging from internal staff updates, volunteer outreach, to funder communications—creating a clear and efficient roadmap for dissemination.

-Craft a templated communications strategy that aligns with our current marketing tools, resources, and the availability of our small team.

I anticipate this project taking approximately 12-24 hours of time overall, with the hope that a volunteer will be able to contribute 2-5 hours per week.

As our nonprofit is a start-up, I haven’t yet outlined the key communication needs or channels. However, I recognize the importance of creating a structured approach for how we communicate with potential supporters, volunteers, and partners. My plan is to collaborate with a skilled volunteer to build this framework from the ground up.

Once the communications plan is developed, it will serve as the foundation for all of our outreach efforts. This will include program updates, event announcements, and crisis responses. I plan to implement the project by gradually integrating the templates and checklists into MosaicGen's operational workflow. With this foundation, future messaging will be more consistent and aligned with our mission to create lasting impact in women's healthcare.
