Project Overview

We are wanting to identify or create a customer database that will house our contacts and be searchable for future marketing, as well as reports and analysis.

Most all of our prospects and new customers come to us through our website, www.AfterCancer.co. Some will reach out through email but most through a contact form on website. We are currently moving an online course to our website also and when people enroll in the course I would like to automatically capture that customer information. We use Wordpress and have plug-ins for the course to be hosted on the site. We researched Access database but it's not able to integrate with WP plug-ins. I am hoping there is someone who can give us advice on how to proceed. We are still an almost entirely volunteer organization and am hoping for an "expert" to work with us to get a database in place.

We are currently working with multiple spreadsheets, populated manually, that house our current customers, past clients, and prospects. We have a total of 2500+ names on that list. Adding new customer data manually, on various spreadsheets, leave room for errors and version control issues. I believe getting our customer information into one place will help us operationally be more efficient, but will also enable us to market to specific groups easily. This is a crucial next step in making sure as we work to grow our customer base.

I have a full time volunteer who was looking into Access database and was going to build that for me, however, he recommended that it wouldn't be the best solution for our organization, as most of our customers come to us through the website and would be better to use a product that integrates with WordPress plug-ins. He would be available, as well as myself and a part-time employee to work with a skilled volunteer to work with a Taproot volunteer on this project.

The All of Me Implementation Framework of Normalizing the Conversation, Setting Expectations, and Referring Timely aims to close the communication gap between healthcare professionals and their patients regarding the topic of sexual health. Through educational resources, courses, and programs, along with an awareness campaign, After Cancer’s goal is to improve the quality of life, sexual health agency, and sexual health for all people impacted by cancer.
