PR Plan for 15th Anniversary
This project is a priority for Horizons Newark because we are commemorating a major milestone for the program - 15 years of serving Newark's kids with tuition-free summer and school-year programming. We are launching a campaign in hopes of raising money to sustain the program for many more years, attracting new donors interested in the education space, and establishing ourselves as a legitimate and long-standing community partner in Newark. Having someone support us with PR will help us get the word out about who we are, what we do, and the impact we make.
We have the relevant data, staff, and content for the person to easily compose a press release. We have connections within the community to hopefully facilitate media introductions as well. Once the project is complete, we plan to share the press release and media coverage with our donors and social media pages, as well as the network of other Horizons affiliates.
