Project Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized volunteer to help structure and organize our digital photo archives. The primary task will involve organizing photo files for the Haitian households in our program and renaming image files to match the corresponding household. We recently completed a comprehensive survey of the 600+ households we serve. There are 4-6 photos per household.

Hope for Haitians is dedicated to improving the lives of communities in Haiti through sustainable development and support. We work closely with Haitian households to monitor and document their progress and success stories.

Key project activities:
-Sort and organize digital photos according to specific criteria.
-Rename photo files accurately to correspond with household identifiers.
-Develop an easy to maintain filing system for easy access and retrieval.
-Coordinate with team members to verify file names and details.
-Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of photo files.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Proficiency with digital file management.
-Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
-Basic understanding of data privacy principles.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with a remote team. This project is a critical component of the enhanced monitoring and evaluation process currently being implemented to ensure we make the maximum impact possible for the funds spent. It also provides important visual information for planning and sharing impact with donors. We have prepared Google Drive folders and Slack channels to ensure an effective launch of the project and provide the necessary resources for its successful completion.
