Project Overview
We are looking for a volunteer who can help our nonprofit develop a compelling pitch deck to approach and secure community partnerships for our organization.
This project will involve becoming familiar with some potential partners (using research our team has already compiled), crafting a persuasive presentation, and collaborating with our marketing and communications team to ensure the pitch deck aligns with our brand messaging and objectives. You'll play a critical role in helping us communicate our mission and value proposition to potential corporate partners.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive presentations for various audiences.
- Strong research skills, able to identify and analyze potential corporate partners and align their interests with our mission.
- Familiarity with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides). Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create visually appealing pitch decks is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of audience targeting strategies to tailor content that effectively engages specific audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.

We will provide the volunteer with our existing research of partnerships and any relevant existing marketing and PR materials. Our founder and president, Dr. Nita, will make herself directly available for this project in order to see that it is successful.
