We are looking for a Product Manager to oversee the redesign of our website. This volunteer will need to implement recommendations provided during our Website Audit within the WordPress admin experience. You will be updating an existing website. This project will not involve coding, but rather expert knowledge of WordPress.

We have a total of 2 other volunteers who you will be able to work with. One of the volunteers doesn't have any WordPress experience but is currently learning WordPress basics. The second volunteer has done a lot of work with WordPress in the past, though not as much admin work. This is a 4-5 week long project. Our goal is to have the main changes completed by July 21st in time for our Summer Fundraiser. We may need to continue working past that week for any additional updates we haven't had time to implement.

While we've had a website for many years, it has not been optimized for volunteer engagement and friendliness of navigation. This coming academic year 2024-2025 will be 15 years that our nonprofit has offered programming and we want to have an updated website in time for our summer fundraiser and the new academic year. It will make a big difference as we expand our funding efforts and volunteer engagement efforts.

We are looking for someone with expertise in WordPress who is also excited about I M U Peace Club's mission and vision, follow our guiding principles (Value diversity, creativity and fun / Communicate with honesty, curiosity and empathy /Act with transparency, kindness and non-violence) and is kind, effective and a team player.

A terrific website audit has been conducted and we have lots of excellent recommendations. We now need someone who can offer their time and expertise to be a Product Manager along with another volunteer to make changes and take our website to the next level.

The ED will be supporting with content, text, photos, and any questions. We are also able to reach out to the initial website developer with any questions.
