Project Overview

Camp Fire Minnesota is celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2024, and we want to analyze the strength of our brand as we are considering rebranding. Considering what is best for our organization in the next 100 years, we want to explore current name recognition, opportunities, and threats if we officially rebrand. We believe this work will include testing the current brand, conducting a brand analysis, and guidance as to how to rebrand and pivot from a 100-year brand into a new one. We would love to find a volunteer with branding and marketing expertise!

Camp Fire Minnesota delivers year-round nature immersive experiences for young people to deliver our mission: With nature as our catalyst, we energize youth to discover their spark so their futures glow brighter. We proudly serve almost 10,000 young people each year, with nearly 50% receiving financial assistance to engage in our programs. We know nature’s positive impacts and want every young person to experience them!

We are proud to be celebrating our 100-year anniversary in 2024! At this important milestone in our history, we are reflecting on the next 100 years and believe it is time for our organization to rebrand and identify a permanent name for our camp property. A team working with us will have the opportunity to impact our trajectory into the next 100 years!

In February this year, we conducted a strategic conversation with our Board of Directors and Foundation Trustees during our annual retreat to analyze our brand. As a result of this session, a decision was made to explore opportunities for us to strengthen our brand and determine a name for our camp property. We have a clear idea of what we need to learn and understand before we make this decision and are hopeful Taproot volunteers can work to provide us with external insight and guidance.
