Project Overview

Our organization would like to partner with an SEO specialist to conduct an on-page SEO audit for our website.

We need to understand the issues hindering our nonprofit’s online visibility to patients and their caregivers, and make sure search engines can crawl and index our website.

We would like the audit to make recommendations: keywords (esp. in our H1 and H2) headlines, title tags, meta descriptions, duplicate content, content copy, internal links, URLs, image size, ALT tags, and website speed.

The SEO specialist would then provide the next steps for an SEO implementation plan. Ideally, this plan would include quick fixes that can be implemented by our team immediately and longer-term tactics. We are not newbies and quick studies! The Founder (me/Karen Curtiss) built the website with help from a graphic designer and we're eager to learn new skills. We would appreciate coaching and could do a lot of the work under guidance.

We have a current live website built on WordPress, using Divi. We are prepared to provide the SEO specialist with admin access to our site any other tools required (FTP access, CMS detail, Google Analytics, etc.). We are willing to be in regular communication with the SEO specialist and transfer all of the relevant information.

Nonprofit Overview

Nothing in life prepares us to be patients or support loved ones during a medical crisis, yet these can be life-and-death roles. Currently, about 80,000 family members are taking care of loved ones with serious illnesses in our complicated healthcare system—learning on the job and juggling family and job responsibilities, as well.

We provide free, simple downloadable checklists in simple language that demystify health care for all kinds of situations. User feedback has confirmed that we're filling a need—preparing patients and Care Partners to make more informed, confident decisions for the best possible care.
