Project Overview

Camp Abilities Long Island is in need of a rebrand! We're hoping that this will include a new logo, specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements in formats we can use in print and digital. This is a highly visible project that will be transformational for us! Our Director has a strong creative vision and is looking to partner with a professional who can bring that vision to life. It will impact the recruitment of new campers/families, as well as individual and corporate donors who are absolutely essential to our organization's success. A style guide may also include the following:
-Rules and guidelines to maintain brand consistency
-Tone and voice guidelines and examples
-Formatting examples
-Instructions for utilizing the brand style guide based on communications channel or stakeholder

Camp Abilities Long Island is a very small nonprofit that is purely volunteer-led. All of our staff members, from equipment staff, counselors-in-training, to our Director and Founder are all volunteers. We have a clear creative vision but would love to partner with someone who can bring that vision to life. Our branding and marketing is the first impression that prospective families and donors have with our organization. It is absolutely vital that we be able to inspire trust, enthusiasm, and generosity via consistent branding. We're entering our 17th year and have been using the same logo and branding since inception. We hope with a rebrand we can modernize and better represent our organization as it is today. Camp Abilities Long Island is also solely funded by grants and donations. Donations from corporations, groups, or individuals are absolutely vital to the survival of our small organization. We hope that with strong branding, we can attract potential donors to partner with us to further our mission and continue to empower children who are visually impaired for years to come.

We are well-prepared to provide our strong creative vision/goals for the project (including examples from other brands), our mission, and vision. We can also share previous marketing/branding materials. We are prepared to provide information on all of our target audiences and the goals behind how we'd like to approach each audience, specifically. We plan to implement our new branding immediately. We're hoping that this rebrand will lay the foundation for a website redesign, a redesign of all of our digital and print marketing materials, physical merchandise, banners, etc. This project is absolutely essential to achieving all of our goals and furthering our mission. We're hoping to celebrate the launch of this rebrand and all of these new materials by our camp next year (July 2025). We're ready to take this next step and are excited to meet potential partners!
