About the Opportunity

We are looking for a volunteer who can assist with the development of a guide for our supervisors including training and onboarding materials for our new supervisors. We’re hoping to find a partner with a background in HR to improve transparency and accountability by clarifying our expectations of our supervisors. This project will contain the following activities:

-Conduct an audit of our existing policies including a review of our current outline for the guide.
-Provide recommendations by identifying areas that we should modify and any new sections that should be addressed and included
-Present a detailed outline of a new guide
-Finalize the guide after receiving feedback from our team

We are an evolving organization that needs to codify and document who we are! I began as Executive Director in January 2024, and our team of supervisors has outlined the ideas and information that would have been most helpful and are looking for a skilled HR or employment lawyer to help us write a guide for supervisors. This would be a collaborative project and will have a profound impact on our ability to live into our values.

We have already developed an outline for our guide, and we have predefined organizational values that we want infused and honored. Our group of supervisors meets at least twice monthly to discuss staff and to develop our own skills, so we are used to collaborating and eager to work on this tool.
