Bookkeeping Set Up

My goal for this Taproot project is to get an independent assessment of the best way to set up/ organize bookkeeping. My short-term accounting goals are to get books set up properly in a sustainable affordable way in order to solicit an independent financial assessment, make budgets, and pitch donors.

This is our first Taproot project. We have had an incredible impact on creating economic independence with motorcycle taxis in Eastern Congo. We have an amazing story to tell with numbers and we have developed our accounting capacity on the ground. Once a Taproot volunteer helps set up our U.S.-based bookkeeping, we will be able to qualitatively improve transparency, share our impact story, and get ready to pitch for long-term funding. It will be the key turning point step toward the launch pad.

I have prepared by attempting several spreadsheets and experimenting with tools like Rocket Money.
