Document Preparation Coaching

Project
Remote
The Harvest Fund
Apply Now

At The Harvest Fund, we seek a dedicated volunteer to serve as a document preparation coach for one of our team members. This volunteer will provide guidance and support to help our employees improve their document preparation skills. The volunteer will instruct on formalizing documents, including adding page numbers, headers, table of contents, etc.
The volunteer will teach more advanced features of Google Docs and Word to enhance document formatting and organization.

The volunteer will play an immense role in knowledge transfer by working with our organization. They will be able to upskill a young professional on the other side of the world, providing skills that they could not otherwise receive. This is a perfect volunteer role for somebody who has spent much of their career working with documents, contracts, reports, and Microsoft Word (or similar software).

Our team member is responsive and has access to reliable internet. We anticipate that the volunteer will meet with the team member once a week or once every other week to review and provide feedback on document preparation techniques. The team member is aware that we are seeking a volunteer to mentor him in document preparation and is eager to learn.

The Harvest Fund's vision is to be an enterprise that builds the agricultural economy while eradicating poverty and promoting environmental sustainability. Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of Zambian female farming cooperatives. In Zambia and similar countries, women are the backbone of agriculture yet toil away with their bare hands and feet and basic tools. The Harvest Fund creates a profitable half-hectare vegetable plot for each of its 10+ cooperatives that is watered year-round with a solar-powered irrigation system. We provide seed, fertilizer, and regenerative agriculture training to make these women farmers more productive and permanently escape poverty.
