We are looking for a volunteer to complete a financial audit of our nonprofit.

We need an independent review of our organization's financial statements conducted by a certified public accountant (CPA). The volunteer will scrutinize our financial records, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure the accurate representation of our financial status and performance.

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to conduct a complete audit. Our fiscal year concludes on December 31st. With a budget of approximately $100,000 and a modest number of transactions, the audit would be straightforward yet immensely valuable for our grant applications.

We maintain current financial reports and have kept meticulous records. We plan to leverage the audit by sharing it on our website and distributing it to prospective funders.

This project will directly support TrackGirlz’s mission to empower girls through track and field by ensuring our organization maintains financial transparency and credibility—two critical factors for securing funding and expanding our impact.

With a successful audit, we’ll be better positioned to secure larger grants and partnerships, allowing us to reach more girls, host additional events like track meets, and provide more grants for adaptive athletes.

To prepare for this project, we have gathered our budgeting information and will share access to our financial management tools.

TrackGirlz will ensure:
- Monthly reconciliations of bank statements are prepared and accessible.
- A digital folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) containing all receipts, invoices, and expense reports for the fiscal year is organized by month.
- Our Operations Manager (primary contact) will hold check-ins via Zoom or email to address questions and monitor progress.
