We are seeking assistance from an Airtable expert in building a grants management system. This system will keep a record of all grants that we've applied for, all funders we have relationships with, and our prospects. It will streamline our workflow around grants.

By developing this grants management system, we will streamline our grants activities, enabling us to apply for more funding opportunities. It will also create a single, comprehensive record of our grants history, which will give us better information for us to inform our approach to different funders.

The system will primarily be used by two people at APA!, one of whom is learning the basics of Airtable currently. You will work with her to build the database, primarily helping her figure out the more complex parts of building an Airtable app. She's already gotten started!

Austin Pets Alive! is a nonprofit animal welfare organization pioneering, practicing, and teaching comprehensive programs designed to save exceptionally vulnerable companion animals, while working to find solutions that will keep pets with their families, and out of the shelter system entirely. We are committed to re-imagining animal sheltering, which has historically defaulted to separating pets from their people and homes, limiting programs to the confines of shelter walls, and helping only pets, in isolation from their humans. APA! intends to protect human-animal bonds, orient programs towards helping people in order to help pets, and keep animal companions in the community unless a shelter is truly the best option for them. With this community-based approach, we provide direct services to people in need, and prioritize the importance of the human-animal bond. Our mission is to promote and provide the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals. Our vision is that every shelter animal, in Central Texas and beyond, gets a true chance at the life they deserve.
