Data Reporting Analysis

Our organization needs your help becoming more data-driven! (Intermediate-level Spanish required)

We are looking for a volunteer who can review, analyze and report on our community health assessment data in support of our Community Health Worker Program by analyzing the data of 3 assessments in
6 rural communities in Guatemala.

The main goals are Cleaning, Summarizing, and Creating analysis of the following databases, which were created in a Survey Application (Commcare) and exported to Excel:
1. Community Health Assessment
2. Individual Health Assessment
3. Diet and Healthy Habits Assessment

This pro bono work will ideally be a donation of 2-3 hours per week for one month by a volunteer. Tasks completed during this project may include:
-Audit and clean data in excel
-Create a report/summary of each of the data sets
-Present recommendations for how we can optimize our data efforts moving forward

These health assessments are key indicators of the success of our Community Health Worker Program, which benefits vulnerable families in Guatemala through disease detection and management, health education and more.

By helping us catch up and report on the data we've been collecting and propose improvements to our existing data collection systems, this project will allow us to create even better health outcomes for our beneficiaries while enabling us to seek additional and larger sources of funding to expand the program and it's impact.

Our organization is committed to becoming more effective and efficient by leaning on data. We need to ensure that we're collecting the right information and in the right ways, first. As a small team with growing programs we sometimes struggle to keep up with our data analysis and seek support to catch up on important data that will improve our program impacts and enable us to seek more funding opportunities. We have identified a member of our team to be your point person on this project. We have gained leadership buy-in for this important work. Our team has also created a list of all current data collection methods that we are ready to share with the volunteer.
