Social Media Content Strategy Training

My goal for this project is to create resources and strategies for two people: our Director (Andrew) and our part-time social media and community manager (Karla). She has a lot of experience growing the following on her own pages, and is learning strategies to increase our social media presence as an organization.

Deliverables will include:
creating and training a content scheduling tool (for Karla and Director to use together)
training on strategies for content creation and brand development
training on strategies to increase engagement
other suggestions from the volunteer

This project will improve our organizations' visibility and following on social media, hopefully attracting more health professionals to partner with us to increase our impact for Guatemalan families. Increased invisibility/engagement will also improve our fundraising performace, as historically we have underperformed in leveraging social media for that purpose.

This projects' success will help our organization bring more vital health services to vulnerable Guatemalan families!

We have prepared for this project by investing more time and energy into our social media since August 2024. We hired Karla part-time to take over managing Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn, and have seen gradual increases in engagement. Prior to Karla, the organization did not have anyone formally responsible for social media. However, Karla is not formally trained in this area, and needs resources, tools and strategies to fulfill her duties asynchronously while balancing other commitments.

This project will have the full support and participation of the Executive Director, with Karla the Social Media Manager directly involved.
