WordPress Website Redesign

My goal is to revamp our Nicholas House website from it's current state. Right now, there are too many pages and it can be hard to navigate. I want more images and client success stories on there. I also want to make donating through our website easier. Our development and marketing team gets a lot of inspiration from the Atlanta Mission's website here in Atlanta and we'd like our website to be as visually appealing and easy to use as theirs. Right now, we have a contact at Website Concierge who helps us with small and incremental changes with content, but we need additional help and resources for a website revamp. We are anticipating federal funding cuts in 2026 so we don't have the funds to pay an agency or our concierge company to do this revamp because we want all our funds going toward the families we serve.

Our website is vital to our mission. This is how families looking for help can find us. It's how volunteers learn about how they can help outside of donations and learn about the multiple volunteer opportunities we offer. It's a place where our community can learn about our programs and the variety of ways we help families experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to make the experience rare, brief, and non-recurring. Our website it also a place for our community to make donations - both one time and on a monthly basis. We want to made donating to us easier, secure and seamless. We also want to improve the website by sharing more client stories and even stories from our case managers who are on the front lines of our work so anyone visiting the website can understand what we do and the impact they would have if they wanted to become a donor or volunteer. We need our website to work for us and be easy for our community or new folks to find. Long term, I want to implement google analytics but that will be the next project after revamping the site. We would also love a partner who will give us suggestions to make the website better that we might not be thinking on right now.

I will be the main person of contact when revamping the website, and I will do everything I can to make the process easy and seamless. And, I will help whenever I can - I learn technology quickly. Right now we are working on improving content and updating places on our website that are our of date or that have changed. I will do my best to have all the content needed for the website revamp so that it doesn't slow down progress. I will respond to messages and emails as quickly as I can to answer any questions and keep things moving along.
