Email Template Design to Strengthen Refugee Engagement and Donor Outreach

We’re looking for a creative and thoughtful volunteer to help us design a set of branded, easy-to-use email templates that we can use to communicate with donors, volunteers, and community members.

Specifically, we’d like help with:
• Designing 2 to 3 email templates that reflect our visual identity and values
• Creating layouts we can reuse for newsletters, updates, and impact stories
• Offering guidance on best practices for nonprofit email readability and design
• Making sure the templates are mobile-friendly and visually appealing
• Helping us keep everything accessible and easy for non-designers to update

Creshendo works with refugee communities around the world, helping them access opportunities, share their stories, and build sustainable futures. But we can’t do this work in silence.

The emails you design will help us reach new donors, share powerful impact stories, keep volunteers engaged, and celebrate the voices of refugees who are leading change in their communities.

This project will help us build stronger relationships and more trust with everyone who supports or benefits from our work. You’ll be helping us communicate with heart, clarity, and purpose.

We’ve already established a strong visual identity and have brand colors, logos, and sample graphics ready to share. We’ve also gathered examples of email styles we love and will share real content from past campaigns so you can see our voice and tone.

You won’t be designing in a vacuum—we’re organized, collaborative, and clear on our goals. Once these templates are in place, we’ll be integrating them into our CRM and training our team on how to use them regularly. We also have graphic design interns who are willing and ready to help, including some with newsletter design experience.
