Complete Grant Application for Food Access Program

We'd like to connect with a skilled grant-writing professional to help us finalize strategy and prepare a complete grant application for a specific funding opportunity. The volunteer will review the grant requirements and our existing materials, refine our approach to align with the funder's priorities, draft or edit the application narrative, and provide recommendations before submission.

Deliverables will include a completed grant application and a submission-ready package for our team to review and submit.

Like many start-ups, we are limited financially- especially within our particular industry. The second largest struggle next to this, is our cooperative members, while all invested, have very limited time. Therefore the reality is I am, as a single person, driving the ship to launch. A single person is not sustainable. Assistance in any form will support our organization through capacity building, so we can move forward successfully. Achieving the goal of completing the grant application with someone who has more experience, will give us a much needed a leg up- and hopefully a large step in the direction of creating financial solvency; Our model has been built to be self-sufficient, so one, larger, successful grant, would help lay the foundation for us, so we can start doing the work that matters: bolstering food access, and feeding people.

I already have business models drafted from which the strategy can be pulled- as well as an initial outline for what was a similar grant which can be utilized. I have buy-in from a local university- we are working out the details on how and if we will be partnering for the grant.
