We are seeking an experienced nonprofit marketing/communications strategist to help us clarify our unique position, strengthen our messaging, and develop a practical growth strategy appropriate for a small nonprofit
The Audrey Anne Foundation is a nonprofit supporting families impacted by childhood cancer through financial assistance, resources, and compassionate support. We work closely with hospital social workers and care teams to connect families with support during treatment and beyond.
As we continue to grow and expand our Hope & Healing program, which provides peer connection and support for parents in treatment and bereaved parents, we want to ensure our mission, programs, and unique role are clearly communicated.
We have also identified organizations offering similar services and want to better understand how Audrey Anne Foundation can differentiate itself, address unmet needs, and identify opportunities for collaboration rather than duplicate existing efforts.
We are seeking an experienced nonprofit marketing/communications strategist to help us build a strong foundation for our organizational positioning and messaging.
At the end of the engagement, we would ideally have:
• A clear positioning statement
• Defined priority target audiences
• Refined key messages
• Recommendations for differentiating Audrey Anne Foundation
• Guidance on clearly and cohesively positioning our programs
Our audiences include childhood cancer families, hospital social workers and care teams, donors, and community partners. Hospital relationships are especially important, as social workers help identify and refer families who may benefit from our programs.
This foundational work will guide future projects focused on website messaging, social media, hospital outreach, partnerships, and a broader marketing and communications strategy.
