About the Opportunity

Grandmothers’ Village Project seeks a pro bono fundraising and development professional to help establish a focused corporate giving and sponsorship strategy.

As an Indigenous-led nonprofit serving marginalized elders and intergenerational communities, GMVP seeks to diversify its funding beyond grants by building relationships with businesses and corporate supporters.

We need assistance identifying promising corporate giving and sponsorship opportunities, developing effective outreach messaging, and establishing a practical approach to cultivating these relationships.

The consultant will develop four core deliverables:

A prioritized list of corporate giving and sponsorship prospects aligned with GMVP's mission, geographic service area, and funding needs.

Key outreach messaging and reusable materials for approaching prospective corporate supporters.

A practical approach for cultivating and maintaining relationships with corporate giving contacts and potential sponsors.

A manageable 6–12 month corporate outreach and follow-up calendar.

The completed project will provide GMVP with a focused corporate giving and sponsorship framework that future development volunteers can implement.

Applicants should be familiar with Massachusetts or New England and the regional corporate giving and nonprofit landscape.
