We are seeking a Taproot consultant to help expand our "Future Stars" Workshop program, which recently achieved impressive results in Dutchess County, New York. The workshop, featuring the documentary American Nightmare/American Dream, inspired 137 low-income high school students, with 78% rating the event highly and 87% saying they would recommend it. Many students reported a greater likelihood of attending college or training due to the workshop, which successfully raised awareness about educational opportunities for underserved students.
To scale this initiative and reach more students, particularly in economically disadvantaged areas, we need fundraising and grant-writing expertise. We are looking for a consultant to help secure funding, identify donors, write grants, and develop a sustainable plan to expand the program across the region.
